What is Coaching?

ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership. We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome and times when we feel stuck. Partnering with a coach can change your life, setting you on a path to greater personal and professional fulfillment. Coaching is not therapy; it is often experienced as an exciting journey of hope, progress and movement.

How does it work?

The first step is for us to meet for a discovery session. This will enable us both to determine if we would work well together, what you want to work on and if coaching is the right fit. When you book in for a discovery session, you are not obliged to continue with the journey. If we decide we want to work together, we start the journey by developing a working agreement. Sessions after that will be lead by you and will focus on the areas of your life that you want to change.

Health Insurance

Some insurance providers offer rebates on Coaching. This will depend on your provider and on the policy you hold. I reccommend contacting your provider to determine if this option is available to you.

Do you carry out assessment/offer diagnosis?

I am not qualified to diagnose people and therefore I do not carry out assessments. I can advise and inform on the process of how to go about getting a diagnosis and I can support you on the journey through my pre diagnosis programme.

What is an ADHD Coach?

An ADHD coach is a professional coach specifically trained to support young people and adults who have ADHD. They can also work with parents and partners who might be impacted by ADHD. 'ADHD coaches support their clients in developing a comprehensive understanding of both the nature of ADHD and the impact of ADHD on their client’s quality of life. ADHD coaches work with clients to create structures, support, skills, and strategies. How long does it take?

The minimum requirement varies across the different programmes but it also depends on the needs of the client. Some clients attend for a brief period, others attend coaching on a regualr basis. This time will allow us to develop our relationship and allow you to experience any noticeable change. You are in the drivers seat and will lead the sessions. Coaching should be viewed as a journey.It is not a quick fix, and there will be a little bit of experimenting with tools and strategies, in order to get things right for you. 30% of the work happens within the sessions, and 70% of the work is done outside of the sessions, so this is based on the work the client does in between sessions.

How much does it cost?

If you are interested in the coaching process and are in a position to commit to the journey, you can shcedule a discoery session. The cost of the coaching programmes varies and therefore are discussed with you within this session. When you book in for a discovery session, you are not obliged to continue with the journey. Please know that there are payment plans available.

Focus Sessions

How does it work?

In advance of the session you need to decide what tasks you want to work on. Claire will open the session with a short grounding technique, then invite everyone to share their tasks with the group. A timer will be set, and we will all get to work. When the timer is finished, everyone comes back to the screen, and shares how they got on. You can book in for your session or sign up for a membership on the link below. Further instructions will be sent to you by email.

What are the Focus Sessions?

The Focus Sessions are online coworking sessions facilitated by Claire. They are suitable for neurodivergetns who find it hard to get started on tasks, stay focused and get things ticked of the list. The aim is create the effect of a 'body double' making the boring, mundane tasks a little bit more easier to do. Participants can attend from anywhere in the world and share a space of support and fun which makes Claire holds all participants accountible for the tasks they have set themselves. It also a good way to meet like MINDed people.

What can I use them for?

The sessions can be used for whatever tasks you are trying to complete. Here are some examples of what other participants use the sessions for: Work projects College work Paperwork/paying bills Booking appointments Housework i.e. hoovering/washing the dishes/clearing clutter Practicing music Reading/writing Planning your week/filling in your diary/schedule Food: prepare/cook/eat Exercise: yoga/home workouts/meditation Getting the kids to bed

What is the coworking schedule?

The coworking schedule is a timetable with 30 weekly sessions Monday to Sunday where you can log in to a virtual space, join other members, and each set to work on your tasks, holding each other accountible and working with a timer. You can avail of this option by purchasing a membership.
